NSAC - National Small Arms Center is the Government center that is responsible for the coordination of ARDEC, TACOM-Rock Island, ARL, the National Small Arms Technology Consortium (NSATC) and other Government laboratories and research capabilities to sustain US military supremacy in the research, development and engineering of small arms weapons systems and munitions. It is operated by the Joint Service Small Arms Program Office (JSSAP) in partnership with ARDEC, PEO Ammunition, PEO Soldier, PM Soldier and TACOM-Rock Island.
